Celebrate Spring with soloists of the Camerata

Principals of the Camerata open our concert in Georg Friedrich Handel's Concerto Grosso in G major, Op.6 No. 1. Then, Donna Lorenzo & Ivan Docenko solo in the romantic Escena andaluza for viola, piano and strings by in Joaquin Turina. After intermission, BPO associate principal cellist Feng Hew gives the world premiere of WNY composer Caroline Mallonee's Whistler Waves for cello and strings. We complete our concert with Antoine Lefebvre & Diana Sachs in a performance of Concerto for 2 Violins in D minor by Johann Sebastian Bach.
